"Meet me Halfway"

I don't really know where to begin with this music thing, theres so much to bring to the table.. so I'm just going with it and I'm just posting as I go along. So Lets try this out..First post on music well lets start with the eighties shall we?In no particular order.So I believe some of the best most classic music comes from the eighties. I don't know if this has to do with the fact that I have so many memories of my good life in South Africa and along with the nostalgia it brings( no I'm not just referring to that unbelievable food I used to eat ) , not to mention the fact the year I was born was 1980, a real eighties baby , so some may call me subjective but I don't care cause I just love it for whatever reason and so here we go...

First song of choice in no particular order is one of my favourites by Kenny Loggins called "Meet me Halfway" this originates from the Soundtrack of Sylvester Stallone's "Over the Top" from 1987 . Such a beautiful song, everytime I hear it I get goosebumps, I remember working this out on the piano , I managed to complete the beginning however I am still working on the chorus, I'll complete it one day. Maybe someone can meet me halfway and teach me the rest, I can't seem to get that left hand right.

As I am one of those who strongly believes in destiny, certain moments return again in time to give us another chance , whether this be in the same form or another form.. the lesson is there, and the chance for us is there to take it, if we choose to and we can once again do what we never did. By putting our hearts on the line we open ourselves to receiving and this is what makes us timeless, as love ( and food hehe) is eternal.
